Davenport Farms is a family-owned farm market, greenhouse, and wholesale vegetable farm located in Stone Ridge, New York in the heart of the Hudson Valley. At our farm stand you’ll find a selection of homegrown produce, fresh-baked goods, and locally produced products, and our nursery offers a large variety of annual and perennial flowering plants, shrubs, trees, vines, herbs, and gardening accessories.

Our family started farming in this region in the 1840s when Isaiah Davenport moved across the Hudson River to Ulster County from nearby Duchess County. Isaiah delivered his farm-fresh produce to local stores and resorts, and today, though we wholesale some of our products, we mainly sell our fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods and specialty foods from our roadside stand.

We pride ourselves in taking a personal interest in the quality of our products; a member of our family can be found in every phase of production on our farm, from planting and harvesting to managing our greenhouses, to selling at our roadside stand. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we think that helps make Davenport Farms a place you'll want to return to again and again.

ROADSIDE STAND AND GREENHOUSE

 SPRING brings delicious asparagus and local strawberries, as well as lettuce and fresh greens. Our nursery is stocked with a dazzling array of blooming annuals and hard-to-find perennials, and an entire greenhouse devoted to medicinal, culinary, and decorative herbs. If deer are a problem, we offer a large selection of deer-resistant herbs, shrubs, perennials and annuals.

 SUMMER brings a bounty of fresh produce at Davenport's, but our specialty is our sweet corn, and when you taste it, you'll know why. Ever wonder what a nursery plant would look like in your garden? Our pond and garden area has display beds that feature many of our annuals and perennials in a garden setting. There are lawn chairs and a picnic table here as well, making it a great place to relax and enjoy our fresh coffee and bakery products.

AUTUMN is spectacular in the Catskills, and our stand offers the finest bounty of the harvest. You’ll find many varieties of crisp, juicy apples for eating and baking, tons of winter squash, and pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins for baking a prize-winning pie or carving a ghoulish delight. Our hay tunnel lets your kids play while you browse, and the bakery serves up pies as good as Grandma’s.

 WINTER Nothing warms a frosty morning like one of our homemade doughnuts and a fresh hot cup of our coffee. Our large selection of specialty food includes a variety of fine cheeses, smoked fish, quality meats, a fantastic bread selection, and dozens of gourmet sauces and condiments.
